We’ll kick off our fall season by exploring some of the newest wines from Australia & New Zealand. These aren’t your traditional shiraz’s and heavily-oaked chardonnays! Think blends of Grenache, shiraz and barbera, or Semillon, Riesling and Viognier. We’ll also try sparkling shiraz, some pinot noir and verdelho.

We’ll sample at least 6 wines from Vrai Amour’s extensive selection and enjoy some of the best gourmet foods from the Midwest. Vrai Amour is a father-and-son shop that focuses on finding and promoting artisanal cheeses, charcuterie and other goods from small producers.  

Vrai Amour is located on Webster Avenue in Lincoln Park, not far from DePaul University. It’s two blocks south of the Fullerton Red/Brown/Purple Line station and easily accessible via Halsted, Lincoln or Armitage buses. Parking in the neighborhood is generally permit-only, although some metered spots exist. There is also fee-based parking at the Sheffield Parking Garage located at 2331 N. Sheffield (just south of Fullerton).

Cost is $30 per person by Sunday, August 24^th and $40 thereafter. Space limits our participation to 30 people, so buy your tickets early to ensure you can attend!
